Infrared Thermopiles

Thermopiles-with-Temperature-Probe Infrared Thermopiles can be used to generate electrical energy and provide an output in response to temperature as an integrated part of a measuring device, such as infrared thermometers, which are widely used by medical professionals to measure body temperature. Thermopiles are also used extensively in heat flux sensors and gas burner safety controls. Our Engineers can advise the infrared thermopile most suitable for your application and will also offer free technical advice as appropriate for custom design projects.
