PRESS RELEASE FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Q1 2018 For Editors Switch with Remote Controlled MMA MMB & MMC Miniature Ethernet / USB Coaxial Switching Modules
Willow Technologies Limited www.willow.co.uk, authorized Teledyne Relays European representative and stockist, introduces the new MMA, MMB & MMC series of Teledyne Coax Switches with remote control via USB and / or TCP/IP (Ethernet). The miniature switch modules have two enclosures, large or small, dependent on the number of switches fitted. The smallest measures 129 x 55 x 197mm and weighs just 510g. They accomplish remote operation via ethernet or via the USB virtual serial port (command set provided). John Merrill, Product Manager Relays at Willow commented These modules feature a graphical user interface (GUI) which enables the user to control switches through graphical icons with visual indicators rather than text-based interfaces. Series MMA offers a maximum of 4 SPDT coaxial switches, with three available operating frequencies: 18GHz, 26.5GHz and 40GHz. Operated via TCP/IP commands via the Ethernet interface or via the USB port, the switches can be set to the desired position remotely and their position verified. The default position on power up can be set via the GUI. The MMB Series, similar to the MMA series offers a maximum of 4 transfer switches with a frequency range of 18GHz.) Series MMC offers a range of single pole multi throw coaxial switches, with a maximum of two SP6T switches with three frequency ranges: 18GHz, 26.5GHz and 40GHz. All miniature matrix coaxial switches are supplied complete with AC/DC power adaptor, power cord, ethernet cable, USB cable and software on a CD.
