SGR282ZK & MORE
Force Guided Safety Relays

Willow Technologies Limited www.willow.co.uk announces the introduction of Elesta Relays NEW forcibly guided contact safety relay SGR282ZK series. Elesta are the world’s foremost manufacturer of high quality forcibly guided relays, designed for public protection. The SGR282ZK features two contacts: 1 NO and 1 NC, which are never closed at the same time, providing maximum protection, in full compliance with EN 50205 (type A) quality standard. This new relay is alternatively available as a 2CO (EN50205 type B).

The SGR282ZK has an industry standard footprint and the contact material is silver copper nickel with a gold plate (AgCuNi), its coil voltage range is 5 VDC to 110 VDC.

Martin Pearce, Marketing Director at Willow Technologies commented, “These SGR282ZK relays achieve the highest reliability, they have an innovative notch-crown-contact system with a sensitive coil, rendering the relay capable of current switching as low as 4mA and right up to 8A. The fully encapsulated coil design is also suitable for use based on ATEX requirements.

Typical applications for forcibly guided contact safety relays include elevator controls, machine tools and train doors.

Willow offers the full line of Elesta forcibly guided contact safety relays which comprise 24 separate relay series, capable of switching currents from 3mA to 16A and can offer up to 10 contacts in a single relay. All Elesta Relays are RoHs compliant and carry UL, cUL and TÜV approvals.

“Elesta relays should be considered wherever people or property must be protected and where a monitored contact is required.” Concluded Pearce.
