Forcibly Guided Safety Relays
|
Elesta relays with forcibly guided contacts are normative elementary IEC 61810-1 relays used in safety applications. These electromechanical relays have special Force Guided contacts in accordance with EN 50205 (soon to be IEC 61810-3), in which all contacts are mechanically linked preventing the NC monitoring contacts closing if a NO contact does not open e.g. when a contact is welded. The NC contact is used for monitoring the switch position of the relay, mostly used where life and limb must be protected. Switching currents from 5 mA to 16A are available. |
