The specification range of the CHS series, thick film, high ohmic, surface mount chip resistors is continually being extended, pushing boundaries previously not thought possible with this technology.

They are used in leading military, medical and avionic applications, where it is fundamental that only products of a superior standard be employed.”

The CHS untrimmed chips are ideally suited to high power, high voltage applications, where voltage dependency is significant, enduring up to an astounding 6,000V. Laser trimmed chips are perfect where tolerances (to ± 0.25%) and temperature coefficients (to 15ppm) are required. Eminently suitable for vacuum applications these non magnetic resistors operate between -55 and +300ºC and feature PtAg contact areas for soldering and conductive gluing. Case sizes range from an ultra miniature 0402 to the much larger 4020. Willow additionally provides customised CHS sizes, resistance values, tolerances, TCR and taping. Further applications include industrial, telecommunications, ATE equipment, consumer and domestic products.
