Willow Technologies Limited introduces the new HG4185 series relays to add to their wide range of Automotive Relays. The HG4185 series has  been specifically developed for High Current applications of up to 80A continuous, where a small PCB or Chassis mount package is required.

The HG4185 series is available with a wide range of contact ratings, 30A, 40A & 80A in normally open and changeover formats. The contacts are enclosed in a plastic casing with PCB, 2.8mm & 6.3mm terminal options. Insulation resistance is rated at 100M at 500VDC (50%RH) and dielectric strength is 500Vrms, 60secs.

The HG4185 series has 6, 12 & 24VDC coil options with optional onboard parallel resistor 680 or diode for suppression. Operational temperature range is –40 to + 125C with storage up to 155C.  Manufactured with high quality components ensures a mechanical life expectancy of greater than 100 million operations with vibration resistance to 5g (40-70Hz) & shock resistance of 20g (11ms). The HG4185 measures 28*28*25mm in size with a weight of 31g.

Applications are wide and include motor control, lamp switching, cooling fan control, electric window control and others where high current  switching is of key importance.
